Have you ever wondered about your Identity? It feels like the whole world is questioning who they really are and who they were made to be. As a Christian, the first place we should always look to is the Bible. Here are 10 verses to help you understand your identity in Christ.
Ephesians 2:10:
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
2 Corinthians 5:17
This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!
Romans 8:16
For his Spirit joins with our spirit to affirm that we are God’s children.
Galatians 2:20
My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
1 Peter 2:9
But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light.
Colossians 2:10
So you also are complete through your union with Christ, who is the head over every ruler and authority.
Romans 8:37
No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.
1 John 3:1
See how very much our Father loves us, for he calls us his children, and that is what we are! But the people who belong to this world don’t recognize that we are God’s children because they don’t know him.
2 Corinthians 5:21
For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ.
1 Peter 1:23
For you have been born again, but not to a life that will quickly end. Your new life will last forever because it comes from the eternal, living word of God.
As you dive deeper into what the Bible says about your identity, my prayer for you is that you find more peace about who God made you to be. Remember, you are valued and loved by God. You have a purpose that has been intentionally planned by your Creator! So, let the Scriptures guide you in uncovering the truth of who you really are in Christ.
