What does Bible say about Talking

Talking is a key part of building any relationship, especially when it comes to faith. When we pray, we’re talking to God and building that relationship that helps us trust in him. And when we consistently go to him to sort out our life, it makes us better prepared to talk to others. Sometimes talking to others involves support and encouragement. Sometimes we need to share our story and how God has impacted our life.

The following verses can help you look closer at what role talking plays in growing your relationships with God.

Psalm 145:18

The Lord is close to all who call on him, yes, to all who call on him in truth.

Matthew 7:7

Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.

Jeremiah 29:12

In those days when you pray, I will listen.

Psalm 34:17

The Lord hears his people when they call to him for help. He rescues them from all their troubles.

Philippians 4:6-7

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

1 Peter 5:7

Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.

Psalm 62:8

O my people, trust in him at all times. Pour out your heart to him, for God is our refuge.

Matthew 6:9-13

Pray like this: Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy. May your Kingdom come soon. May your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us today the food we need, and forgive us our sins, as we have forgiven those who sin against us. And don’t let us yield to temptation, but rescue us from the evil one.

James 5:13

Are any of you suffering hardships? You should pray. Are any of you happy? You should sing praises.

1 Peter 3:15

Instead, you must worship Christ as Lord of your life. And if someone asks about your hope as a believer, always be ready to explain it.

These verses remind us of the importance of prayer, pouring out our hearts to God, seeking His guidance, and trusting in His faithfulness to listen and respond to our prayers.
